Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new business within designated Retail accounts, collaborating closely with Solution teams and core account teams to achieve sales and margin objectives.
  • Position Fractal's offerings to align with client needs, establishing trust and becoming a reliable advisor for services through effective management of complex client relationships.
  • Leverage expertise in the Retail sector, technology, and consultative sales techniques to inform and educate clients on the advantages of our business and implementation capabilities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business goals, challenges, and initiatives to identify potential opportunities.
  • Foster value-driven relationships within the account domain and with core account teams.
  • Build the credibility to independently lead solution sales initiatives within large accounts.
  • Drive business development and pre-sales efforts by utilizing both industry knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Exhibit the ability to advance sales initiatives through a needs-based approach, including consultative discussions, cross-functional collaboration, and facilitated workshops.
  • Represent the complete Fractal portfolio with a broad understanding of AI, Engineering & Design, and Behavioral Sciences.

Success Profile:

  • Proven track record of leading strategic engagements within new and existing Retail accounts, consistently meeting or surpassing quarterly and annual targets.
  • Strong commercial insight to effectively manage and enhance revenue streams, collaborating with both purchasing and business sectors.
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities to connect client challenges with internal capabilities, linking discussions back to business outcomes.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and formal presentation skills, enabling engagement with diverse client audiences from technical implementers to executive leadership.
  • A collaborative team player, skilled in defining issues, conducting complex analyses, and contributing to the preparation and presentation of solution alternatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large, globally distributed teams, recognized as a natural leader while effectively managing account growth objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 12-15 years of experience in the data analytics sector through direct client engagement.
  • Proven ability to drive account growth in large-scale accounts, fostering strong cross-geography client relationships and executing pre-sales activities in line with account management best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Retail Data & Analytics, with a comprehensive understanding of functional areas such as Data Engineering, Cloud Technology, Supply Chain, Customer Analytics, Digital Marketing, Reporting Systems, Personalization, and Experimentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think critically and engage effectively with both business and analytical communities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with a geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Information Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • Hands-on experience in analytics delivery, with familiarity in Visualization tools, Advanced Analytics, or cloud data technologies being advantageous.
  • Self-motivated individuals with a desire for rapid career advancement and a proactive attitude are likely to excel in this role. This position may require travel.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position considers various factors in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated range is: $160,000 - $250,000. Additionally, there may be eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on performance.

As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans according to the plan documents. Benefits commence on your first day of employment. You will also have access to the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment. The Company provides 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave, along with a flexible PTO policy for personal time off.
