SUMMARY:
The Corporate Accounting Field Support Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring effective training and assistance for on-site accounting personnel.
This position serves as the primary liaison for the Corporate Accounting Department, providing ongoing support to on-site accounting teams as necessary in a bench/support capacity.
Anticipate travel requirements of 75%-85%.Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate a seamless transition and onboarding experience for associates, owners, existing management companies, and Concord Hospitality team members. This role involves completing essential accounting training and tasks, including but not limited to:
- Representing Concord Hospitality and its various hotel brands with professionalism at all times.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a focus on upholding all Concord standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participating in weekly Accounting Department Meetings.
- Assisting in the collection of accounting labor and travel expenses for transition budgeting.
- Gaining proficiency in multiple property management systems.
- Supporting the recruitment of new accounting leadership while assigned to a specific property, if necessary.
- Understanding the Concord Internal Audit process and reviewing relevant accounting items with hotel staff.
- Conducting on-site accounting training based on the current checklist.
- Ensuring the on-site accounting training checklist is updated regularly as needed.
- Guaranteeing proper training and review of all Accounting COPs.
- Completing systems training, including PVNG, Document Management Systems, Profitsword, and Edenred.
- Setting up intranet Property Site folders (e.g., EOM, Funds Control).
- Training accounting staff on the completion of daily income journals or the setup of daily interfaces with PMS.
- Assisting in a successful transition to the hotel's Property Controller (on-site or centralized) and serving as a resource when required.
- Acting as the main point of contact for all on-site Controllers post-transition, as needed.
- While serving in a bench/support role, assuming the responsibilities and duties of the vacant accounting leadership position.
Hospitality accounting experience is essential.
