Telecommunications CAD Specialist

Doota Industrial America is a prominent player in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, recognized for its pioneering solutions and collaborations with leading companies. We are currently looking for a dedicated CAD Designer to assist our BIM Engineer during the design, planning, and implementation stages of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modeling Expertise: Collaborate with BIM Engineers to develop precise 2D and 3D models utilizing CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
• Detailed Drawings: Create comprehensive shop drawings for various telecommunications infrastructure elements, including cable management systems.
• Engineering Interpretation: Analyze and interpret engineering specifications and drawings to accurately reflect design objectives.
• Team Collaboration: Work in close partnership with BIM Engineers to comprehend project needs and assist in troubleshooting design challenges.
• Cable Management: Aid in the design of cable tray layouts and optimize placement according to project specifications.
• Conflict Resolution: Participate in clash detection initiatives by identifying and addressing conflicts among electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Construction Liaison: Engage with the construction team, including managers and electricians, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software, especially AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and cable routing principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on producing precise drawings.
• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with clash detection methods is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a CAD design capacity or relevant internship is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
