Job Title: Insurance Sales Agent

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at First Tech Federal Credit Union. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for marketing and selling insurance products to our members, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to member inquiries and provide solutions to their insurance needs
  • Identify potential clients through leads and referrals, and network with them to build relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the insurance department and the credit union
  • Prepare proposals for prospects and make follow-up calls to members
  • Maintain up-to-date electronic files on all current and prospective members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance industry trends, products, and services
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' sales and customer service experience in an independent agency setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance policies and carriers
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations regarding personal lines insurance products
  • Familiarity with an agency management system (such as EZLynx)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Comparative Rater
  • AZ Property & Casualty license, Life Insurance license, and other state licenses as required
