Role Summary:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems commissioning services throughout various stages of construction projects, including retro-commissioning and monitoring-based commissioning for existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: You will receive guidance on key objectives and will be expected to apply advanced techniques and principles to your work. Your outputs will be reviewed by senior staff to ensure adherence to professional standards. You will also oversee the quality of work produced by junior team members.

  • Operational Engagement: Support the marketing efforts of the firm to attract new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

  • Execution of Duties: You will be tasked with producing detailed commissioning documentation, including specifications, plans, meeting minutes, and reports. Responsibilities will also include planning and scheduling tasks, conducting design reviews, performing field inspections, and facilitating functional performance testing.
  • Conduct site inspections and generate field reports during construction phases.
  • Review project close-out documentation.
  • Maintain project utilization targets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and contractors.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient completion of commissioning activities.
  • Represent the company professionally at all project-related meetings.
  • Possess a solid understanding of relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • LEED Accreditation and commissioning certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional outdoor site visits.
  • Mobility required around construction sites, including the ability to navigate various physical conditions.
  • Frequent use of standard office equipment.
