About the Job
As a Certified Medical Assistant with KARE, you will provide top-notch care to residents, including medication administration, treatment assistance, and support with daily activities. You will also have the opportunity to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional and social support to residents
- Document resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
- Maintain a safe working environment through prevention of accidents and preservation of equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license required
- Ability to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English language
Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
