Job Summary

RAND is seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our team in Behavioral and Policy Sciences. As a Policy Analyst, you will work closely with project leaders to provide project management and research support on a range of policy topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain budgets, establish timelines, track project deliverables, and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Conduct literature reviews, job analyses, interviews and focus groups, support quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and prepare draft documents and presentations.
  • Work independently and effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in anthropology, psychology, public administration, public health, public/health policy, or related fields.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Strong interest in conducting policy-relevant research.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research, project management, data management, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement, involving a combination of work from home and on-site from RAND offices.
