POCT Laboratory Scientist

As a POCT Laboratory Scientist at TriCore Reference Laboratories, you will perform waived, moderate, or high complexity laboratory tests for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of disease. You will also be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory equipment, as well as running and evaluating quality control testing to ensure equipment is functional prior to patient testing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory tests for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment
• Run and evaluate quality control testing
• Assist with the implementation and oversight of waived point of care testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in biological, chemical science, or physical sciences
• Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
• Equivalent education and training
• No experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
• ASCP or AMT certification as a MLT or ADLM certification for POCT
