Position Summary:

The primary aim of this role is to elevate the standard of healthcare delivery by offering specialized clinical education and fostering professional growth among nursing staff. This position works in collaboration with management, the clinical education team, and nursing personnel to meet both organizational and departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer guidance and expertise to nursing staff at the bedside
  • Facilitate practice improvements through collaborative efforts
  • Promote the application of best practices and evidence-based methodologies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency or acute care environment

Licensure and Certifications Required:

  • Valid RN license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing
  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Preferred: Clinical Specialty Certification
  • Preferred: Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification
  • Active membership in a relevant professional organization
  • Compliance with credentialing standards

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. The role involves medium physical demands as defined by the ADA.
