Role Purpose:
The Program Manager for Assessments will play a crucial role in supporting a key client by fostering relationships with vendors and factories globally while driving initiatives focused on social compliance and sustainability. This position will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager and other team members to meet client expectations and fulfill our obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and intuitive individual, contributing to the client's social responsibility and human rights initiatives. The Program Manager will oversee the execution of the client's risk monitoring program, ensuring that assessment plans are implemented according to established timelines and maintaining direct communication with suppliers throughout the process.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Supplier Engagement:
- Contact vendors to confirm facility details.
- Provide clear instructions to suppliers regarding updates or new facility information.
- Guide suppliers in responding to inquiries.
- Maintain escalation details for suppliers to share with the client.
- Plan and monitor the execution of the assessment plan, both internally and externally.
- Facilitate pre- and post-assessment communications with suppliers, clarifying expectations and addressing questions.
- Maintain internal guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructions to meet client expectations and obligations.
- Contribute to performance reporting and measurement aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLA):
- Keep trackers updated and accessible to the client.
- Utilize data systems proactively to identify and resolve issues.
- Be available for communication during non-traditional hours.
- Collaborate with a global team to meet client expectations and obligations.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Minimize employee exposure to risks by regularly reviewing health and safety protocols, applying appropriate controls, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all activities.
Ensure personal and team compliance with health and safety standards, providing necessary training and resources for safe operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Ethical Sourcing, Labor Compliance, or Environmental sectors.
- Strong analytical skills.
