Key Responsibilities:
The Compliance Risk Analyst will undertake the following tasks:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential suspicious activities associated with client accounts and prepare detailed reports on findings.
  • Engage in the daily examination of significant and complex transactions to ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Analyze specific transactions and overall trends within customer accounts, identifying any activities that deviate from expected behavior.
  • Utilize various proprietary software tools, effectively communicating with banking professionals and clients throughout the investigative process.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law Enforcement, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Basic understanding of BSA/AML/USA Patriot Act/OFAC/CIP regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
  • Experience in bank treasury, loan, or deposit operations is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly in spreadsheet and database reporting tools, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with FiServ FCRM, WireExchange, CWS, and/or Signature Desktop is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze specific transactions and trends within customer accounts.
  • Capable of managing multiple ongoing matters concurrently.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
