Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at Westminster Public Schools.
Job Summary:The Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to student athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being while participating in sports and physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide athletic training services to student athletes, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student athletes.
- Collaborate with coaches, teachers, and other school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student athletes.
- Maintain accurate records of student athlete injuries and treatment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff regarding student athlete injuries and treatment.
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) or equivalent.
- Experience working with student athletes in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Athletic Trainer will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to respond to student athlete injuries and emergencies. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain accurate records.
