Mammography Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Explain procedures and educate patients about the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
- Develop and evaluate films for technical quality, including density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, including correct lead markers and patient data/history.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Completion of a federally approved 40-hour mammography training course within 3 months (90 days) of hire and completion of 25 supervised mammography studies to meet Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) requirements.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
