**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer I to join our team at ArmorWorks Enterprises, LLC. As a Product Engineer I, you will be responsible for creating product design concepts and drawings for research and development programs. You will also assist with the procurement, building, and integration of developmental products, as well as testing which may include functional, ballistic or drop tower testing.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Designing, developing, and detailing new technologies and products using SolidWorks
* Assist with product development procurement, building, and testing
* Development of technical documents (Design reviews, trade studies, test plans/reports, etc.)
* Maintain legacy production products

**Requirements**

* US Citizen
* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or higher
* One to five years of experience in product development
* Strong work ethic, problem solving, and organizational skills
* Proficient with SolidWorks and strong understanding in the management of Bill of Materials
* Strong understanding of ASME Y14.100 and ASME-Y14.5 drawing and tolerance standards

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Certified SolidWorks Professional
* GD&T training certification
* Experience with DoD product development related to ground combat, marine, and aircraft platforms
* Experience with composite materials
