Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Information Systems Security Engineer with a focus on security practices and hands-on vulnerability testing. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of security policies and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the security posture of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and validating security requirements for large-scale systems and their components.
- Implementing effective information security architectures to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Developing technical solutions and standards based on security architecture needs.
- Assessing security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Leading security planning and risk management activities.
- Collaborating with internal technical experts and communicating security issues to program managers.

- Ensuring hardware and software implementations meet security requirements.
- Evaluating security compliance and recommending enhancements.
- Conducting audits and assessments of system security configurations.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in security practices and vulnerability testing.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework.
- Knowledge of common security tools such as Nessus and Wireshark.
- Familiarity with secure configurations for operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Defense in Depth principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or ISSEP.
- Experience with penetration testing tools and scripting languages.
