SUMMARY:

The role is pivotal in ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of guest accommodations, adhering to the established standards of the hotel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Thoroughly clean designated guest rooms in accordance with hotel protocols. This encompasses making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, and dusting surfaces.
  2. Restock essential items in the rooms, including toiletries, linens, and other supplies as per hotel guidelines.
  3. Maintain cleanliness of entry areas and windows outside the guest rooms, following hotel standards.
  4. Safely operate all housekeeping equipment.
  5. Ensure housekeeping carts are organized and replenished daily.
  6. Participate in the monthly inventory of housekeeping supplies.
  7. Familiarize oneself with all emergency procedures of the hotel.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines established by the hotel.
  9. Comply with quality assurance standards set for the housekeeping department.
  10. Manage key control for issued keys effectively.
  11. Handle keys left by guests with care and report accordingly.
  12. Return lost and found items to the designated office for proper documentation and storage.
  13. Utilize the L.E.A.R.N Model for addressing guest recovery situations.
  14. Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude when engaging with guests.
  15. Promptly report any unusual occurrences in guest rooms to a supervisor or manager.
  16. Complete maintenance requests and submit them to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  17. Accommodate special requests from guests courteously.
  18. Provide information to guests regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
  19. Carry out any reasonable tasks assigned by management that fall within the scope of the role.

Physical Requirements:
