POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate product selection and supporting the warehouse team while maintaining an organized facility. We are looking for a dependable and positive team player to contribute to our expanding warehouse operations. If you are available to work Monday through Friday with weekends off, you may be an ideal candidate. Your efforts will enhance our overall shipping process through efficient teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a welcoming and supportive attitude towards fellow team members and management.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of merchandise, ensuring accurate check-in of products.
  • Interpret picking orders and work instructions to identify items for movement, gathering, or distribution.
  • Transport materials from receiving or storage areas to designated shipping locations.
  • Label materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and external visitors using positive language.
  • Maintain a casual warehouse appearance and foster a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and organize them on pallets, shelves, or designated holding areas.
  • Ensure the warehouse and work area are orderly at all times.
  • Adhere to all established company policies and procedures, maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

Work Schedule Expectations:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • This role is primarily based in a warehouse setting, with limited outdoor exposure.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, utilizing a dolly for safety.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures throughout the seasons.
  • Utilization of standard warehouse equipment such as hand-held scanners, pallet jacks, box cutters, tape dispensers, and shrink wrap dispensers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • One year of prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
