Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will implement tailored therapy programs for individuals facing communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough patient evaluations and setting suitable treatment objectives.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
- Creating detailed goals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Delivering care and adjusting treatment plans according to patient needs.
- Educating patients, families, and colleagues on relevant topics.
- Maintaining accurate records of therapy services provided.
Experience
- Preferred: At least one year of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or a current Clinical Fellowship Plan approved by ASHA.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licenses and Certifications
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per organizational policy.
