The Chemistry Stockroom Assistant II position is a vital role in supporting the research and teaching laboratories in the Chemistry Department at St. Olaf College. Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense reagents, solutions, and supplies to researchers and instructors through the stockroom window
  • Wash and maintain glassware and equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching laboratories, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment

Requirements

  • Familiarity with chemistry glassware and supplies
  • Preferred: completion of at least one Chemistry course
  • First-year students may be considered if they demonstrate knowledge of chemistry glassware and supplies
  • On-the-job training will be provided, and employees are required to complete safety training prior to or on the first day of employment
