Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at Holiday Companies in Northfield, MN. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including attending job-related meetings and performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions
  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, and take-out garbage.
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
  • Exposure to occasional noise.
