Mechanic Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic Team Lead to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all mechanical system activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet service and delivery schedules.
- Assist management with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians, ensuring they follow proper procedures and techniques.
- Assess and develop subordinates, providing guidance and growth opportunities to reinforce their strengths and weaknesses.
- Ensure all required components are ordered and available in a timely manner, and perform engine runs as needed.
- Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, Customer Bulletins, and other procedures related to aircraft maintenance and servicing.
- Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, demonstrating the ability to consistently perform assigned tasks within quoted or standard time.
- Perform post and pre-flight inspections, troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions, and follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment.
- Assist in maintaining work schedules, updating CMP cards, and reviewing work to ensure compliance with Gulfstream Repair Station procedures and FAA Airworthiness Standards.
- Review daily job charging to ensure accuracy of charges to aircraft.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance, including aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, engine removal, installation, and rigging.
- Advanced working knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials, including maintenance manuals, IPCs, and structural repair manuals.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
