We're looking for a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation rockets. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptual design to flight testing, and collaborate with experts from various fields to develop innovative solutions.

What you'll do:
Develop and implement advanced structural analysis techniques and tools to ensure the integrity and safety of our rockets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new rocket systems and components.

Conduct structural analysis and testing to validate the performance of our rockets.

Develop and maintain complex mathematical models and simulations to predict the behavior of our rockets under various conditions.

What you need to know:
An undergraduate degree in engineering or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.

5+ years of experience in numerical analysis and tool development, preferably for FEA, CFD, or finite volume thermal analysis.

2+ years of experience in software development in a data handling/interdisciplinary environment.

Experience solving complex problems on integrated vehicles.

Experience structuring, negotiating, executing, and delivering complex tools and methods projects from start to finish.

Proficiency in Python and version control systems (e.g., git).

Nice to haves but not required:
A graduate degree (MS/PhD) in engineering or a related field and 15+ years of relevant experience.

Experience managing and developing analysis toolsets and workflows across in-house and commercial software.

Experience developing and managing robust data pipelines (storage backends, processing, front ends / GUIs).

Familiarity with classical aerospace sizing methods (Timoshenko, Bruhn, Roark, etc).

Expertise in multiple technical domains (e.g. structural and thermal).

Familiarity with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
