About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at The Boeing Company. As a key member of our C-17 Globemaster III program, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving the structural integrity of this iconic aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze repairs and modifications to the C-17 aircraft using finite element modeling and other computer-aided techniques.
  • Perform structural strength analysis and document results.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop and implement structural designs and analysis methods.
  • Evaluate complex vehicle systems and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering classification.
  • 3+ years' experience with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
  • 3+ years' experience with finite element modeling and structural analysis methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 9+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with structural sizing and finite element models/simulations using NASTRAN/PATRAN, ABAQUS, Hypermesh, Optistruct, etc.
