Conductor Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Conductor Trainee. As a key member of our Transportation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight across our vast network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage train operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct daily inspections of trains and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Operate track switches and derails to change train routing and ensure safe passage.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless train operations.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with diverse and extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to climb, descend ladders, and get on/off equipment.
- Ability to work at various heights above the ground, including on locomotives, railcars, and other equipment.
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
