Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA) as required
  • String, sag, clip, and dead-end conductor
  • Ground conductor and set up an Equipotential Workzone
  • Ascend and descend poles of all types to change out cross arms, transformers, and repair conductors
  • Lead crew during on-call rotation
  • Interpret maps, specifications, staking sheets, and complex diagrams
  • Maintain records required for time worked and materials
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some construction and/or electrical experience
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
Physical Demands
  • Frequently work in heat and other weather conditions
  • Frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb
  • Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
  • Frequently reach high and low places
  • Ability to see, hear, balance, and review job sites
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout work day
