Position Summary:
Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Packaging Specialist to join our team. This role involves working during the night shift, with hours from 6:48 PM to 7 AM on a rotating schedule.

Compensation begins at $19.85 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

As a Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the production area, creating cases, inspecting products, and packing finished goods according to established guidelines and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to all safety, health, and quality policies and procedures.

2. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and related tasks as assigned.

3. Conduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

4. Follow detailed packing instructions accurately.

5. Report any potential issues with products or machinery to the supervisor.

6. Prepare materials for packing, ensuring cleanliness and quality.

7. Operate case-making equipment safely and efficiently.

8. Communicate effectively with team members regarding supply needs and production issues.

9. Assist in training new employees on packing and quality standards.

10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

11. Complete necessary documentation as required.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

As a Packaging Specialist, you will interact with various stakeholders, including managers and team members. Therefore, the following skills are essential:

- Consistent attendance and punctuality.

- Proficiency in computer usage and typing.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external parties.


Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent service.


Capability to work independently and complete tasks as instructed, adhering to established practices.

Compensation Information:


The salary range for this position is determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
