About the Role
Spectrum Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Tech to join our Orthopedic team in the Total Joint Replacement program. As a Nurse Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and report physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider.
- Perform basic skills per department guidelines and communicate observations to members of the healthcare team.
- Take vitals, check blood sugars, bed bathe, ambulate, wound care, catheterize, and act as a safety attendant for patients.
- Ensure that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
