Product Design Specialist

At Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Product Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product component design and experience with 3D CAD software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 3D models and drawings based on customer requests using 3D CAD software systems.
  • Support the new business quoting process by providing Product Engineers with information regarding size, volume, weight, and quantities needed to produce the requested part.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve product development concerns or issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and attend engineering meetings to add input regarding the part design.
  • Update design drawings with necessary changes based on customer and Product Engineer feedback.
  • Manage product design projects and maintain accurate records.
  • Administer incoming and outgoing CAD data within the OEM database and document all events.
  • Upload and release data files into customer data vault systems and PLM for global programs.
  • Promote continuous improvement in the product development process to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a 2-year Technical Degree focused in design or engineering, or 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Completed qualified training courses in 3D CAD design software (e.g., CATIA, NX).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in product component design.
