Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst

Join Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking as a Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst and play a key role in assessing the creditworthiness of financial institutions. As a member of the FIG Risk team, you will be responsible for evaluating the credit risk of banks, insurance companies, broker/dealers, and pension funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess Credit Risk: Conduct thorough analysis of financial institutions to determine their creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
  • Develop Risk Opinions: Prepare written risk opinions and analysis to support business decisions and present to Senior Management and Credit Committees.
  • Collaborate with Business Teams: Work closely with business teams to understand their needs and provide credit risk expertise to support business growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay connected with industry trends and macro issues that may impact the portfolio and recommend changes or actions to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data and identify potential risks.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to present risk opinions and analysis to Senior Management and Credit Committees.
  • Business Acumen: Have a good understanding of the business and the ability to work closely with business teams to support business growth.
