Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine to join our team at Vision Achievement. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in department leadership, program development, strategic planning, change management, and clinical leadership.

About the Role

This is a $250,000 - $350,000 per year opportunity for a Chief of Pulmonary Medicine to direct the clinical and operational activities of the department. The successful candidate will oversee daily clinical operations, create a vision and direction for the department, and provide leadership for operational issues.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of medical staff
  • Create a vision and direction for the department
  • Provide leadership for operational issues
  • Design and implement policies
  • Be an active physician within the practice
  • Develop practice-oriented education
  • Mentor and train clinical staff
  • Take an active role in quality improvement
  • Recruit clinical staff, including physicians and nurse practitioners, to grow the department
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Unrestricted PA medical license
  • Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Residency
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Graduate from an ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric outpatient practice
  • 3 years of experience in practice leadership and change management
