Senior Civil Design Engineer

Redcom Laboratories is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing full site plan designs and associated reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client relations and communication
  • Design and development of site plans and reports
  • Implementation of guidelines and state agency requirements
  • Management of the approval process with municipal, county, and state agencies
  • Communication with land use attorneys, clients, and engineering review teams
Essential Duties & Tasks:
  • Contribute to the team with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects through the site plan approval process in NJ
  • Ability to train and supervise project site engineers
  • Strong commitment to priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software such as HydroCAD
Desired Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong skills and experience with drainage and hydrology design
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey
  • Experience testifying before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment
