We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Data Analytics and Decision Science section. As a Section Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and technical guidance to a team of engineers, statisticians, data scientists, and systems analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to a diverse team of group leaders, technical staff, and project leaders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with program leaders to achieve program goals.
- Participate in strategic technical decisions and contribute to long-term goals and objectives for the division.
- Monitor and influence technical advancements to strengthen and expand section capabilities.
- Collaborate with key programmatic leaders to establish strategic partnerships with external customers and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience and subject matter expert knowledge in at least one of the core technology areas of the section.
- Substantial experience in researching, writing, and presenting successful technical proposals.
- Highly advanced communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Significant experience providing technical leadership and working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or closely related technical field.
- Experience with the development of new computational methodologies in at least one of the section's core technology areas.
- Knowledge and experience of Laboratory management and structure.
