Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HCA Florida Palm Beach Surgical Specialists. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining patient histories.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire date.
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials highly preferred.
