Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Carthage Central School District. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans to support students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive assessment and intervention plans for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and provide recommendations for continued support
Requirements
  • NYS Certification in Speech & Language or Speech & Hearing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Knowledge of communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
