Job Summary:
As a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing high-quality CT examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients undergoing CT examinations.
  • Review patients' medical histories prior to performing CT procedures, confirming that patients have signed a contrast media consent form.
  • Position patients on examination tables and monitor their condition during examinations.
  • Administer intravenous contrast material as directed by radiologists.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure high-quality images are produced.
  • Maintain a clean and organized examination room, store film, and manage related supplies.
  • Prepare patient information files and submit reports detailing examination results.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT required; certification must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire.
  • Current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.

Education and Certifications:
  • Venipuncture competency check-off or acquisition within three (3) months of hire.
  • Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program required.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, push, pull, and lift patients.
  • Capacity to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to tasks for 20 to 45 minutes at a time.
  • Flexibility to adjust routine to accommodate patient or department needs without affecting departmental flow.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift at least 50 pounds, hear, speak, and see.
  • Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.
  • Knowledge of customer-focused service requirements of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with members and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
  • Specialized training in computerized tomography required.
