Job Summary:

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physical therapy programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall physical functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and progress treatment plans, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on proper techniques and self-care strategies to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements, applying new knowledge and skills to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
