MBS Solutions is seeking a skilled laborer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and physically fit individual to work in our fabrication shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including measuring distances, selecting and cutting sheet metal, and assembling HVAC building packages.

Responsibilities
  • Measure distances and select the appropriate type of sheet metal
  • Cut sheet metal by hand or using power shears
  • Assemble HVAC building packages
  • Deliver building packages
  • Operate fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, and forming rolls
  • Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
  • Receive and process warehouse products
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Analyze and resolve work problems
Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical indoor/outdoor activities
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform required tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry materials
  • Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of hand tools and machines
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to work safely and follow safety procedures is essential.
