Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care of patients under the direction of an RN.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed.
  • Prepare and move patients, and clean the operating room.
  • Work as a patient care technician in the assigned unit when not in the operating room.
  • Follow department standards and guidelines under the supervision of an RN.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS required.
  • NCCT Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • At least two years of experience as a Surgical Tech, preferably in the area of application.
