Job Title: Street Youth Outreach Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide direct services to homeless and unaccompanied youth. The successful candidate will perform ongoing outreach, develop rapport with youth, and provide support and referrals for case management and counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing outreach services to identify and engage homeless and runaway youth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with youth, providing support and referrals for case management and counseling services.
  • Assess the needs of youth and identify and make referrals to community resources and team members.
  • Provide extra support for youth with higher levels of need and maintain accurate records and files.
  • Promote collaboration and positive communication within the Family Haven Alliance system of care and coordinate activities with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or human services field with two years' experience working with at-risk youth and homeless populations.
  • Professional experience in mental health field and addictions treatment is a plus.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $21.00.
