Job Overview

Position Summary:

The In-House Service Technician plays a vital role in supporting the emergency responder sector, particularly with tools such as hydraulic extrication equipment. This role is integral to ensuring that equipment is maintained to the highest standards, reflecting the professionalism of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of newly received tools before they are made available for sale.
  • Perform servicing and repairs on hydraulic extrication tools, including Jaws of Life.
  • Service and maintain Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), including masks and tanks.
  • Stay informed about the latest products, procedures, and tools in the industry.
  • Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance requirements.
  • Handle incoming shipments efficiently.
  • Manage parts orders for customer repairs effectively.
  • Ensure the Service Center is kept clean and organized.
  • Assist with parts pick-up and drop-off as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Able to safely lift and operate equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
