Job Title: Ophthalmic Medical Assistant

At South Central Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

The Ophthalmic Medical Assistant will assist physicians in the diagnostic testing, examination, and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of ophthalmic optics, ocular anatomy, and physiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in diagnostic testing and examination of patients
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with ophthalmic procedures and surgeries
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of an accredited two-year program in ophthalmic medical assisting
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic optics, ocular anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
