Position Overview:
The Day Porter is primarily responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep of all designated areas, adhering to established practices and procedures that meet company and client quality and safety standards. This role may involve regular interaction with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monitoring and inspections of assigned work areas during and after task completion to ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and Servicon standards.
  • Engage in training programs covering topics such as safety regulations, efficient cleaning methods, and equipment maintenance.
  • Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles, and transport waste materials to designated disposal areas.
  • Vacuum all carpets and rugs in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
  • Dust and wipe clean all office furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces.
  • Remove smudges and marks from vertical surfaces, including doors and partitions.
  • Damp-mop or clean any spills in offices, stairwells, and public areas as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the janitorial closet.
  • Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in a similar role, though not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Bi-lingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management capabilities.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
