About the Team

As a Business Analyst, you will exhibit a profound understanding of the strategic objectives of the business unit and will be accountable for directly supporting various facets of the Americas Banking Solutions Division.

NOTE:
Preferred work location is flexible.

Key Responsibilities


Take charge of conducting analysis and review functions for the business unit in alignment with the Operations Manager's specific goals.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Examine service agreements, pinpoint contract discrepancies, and collaborate with Account Management to rectify.
Conduct initial pricing assessments for renewal agreements, in-house to service bureau, and new core contracts.
Oversee and aggregate data pertaining to renewals, in-house to service bureau, and new core opportunities.
Analyze financial information, summarize findings, and report to Business Line Management concerning renewals, migrations, and new core agreements.
Facilitate monthly sales meetings to evaluate the sales pipeline and update divisional reports.
Maintain divisional pipeline and compression reports.
Develop and uphold a system for tracking data issues and their resolutions.
Create and manage tools (Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, and other Microsoft products) utilized for assigned tracking and reporting.
Conduct research and analysis to bolster business operations and present findings to management or project leaders.

Design and plan business processes, making recommendations and adjustments to enhance and support business systems and activities for improved effectiveness and efficiency.

Utilize systems and data to address business challenges in the most efficient and productive manner.
Identify and implement best practices while suggesting improvements to current methodologies.
Estimate costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to assess their viability and return on investment.
Formulate recommendations to resolve issues related to business operations.
Analyze and document business processes and metrics, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Responsible for generating operational reports as necessary.
Support the growth strategies of the business unit.
Engage in special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management information systems, or a comparable combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Familiarity with FIS' products and services
  • Understanding of the business goals, objectives, and operations for the relevant FIS organization
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector
  • Understanding of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
