Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient movement into and out of the facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patient activity.
  • Stay up-to-date on all facility rules, regulations, and policies, providing guidance and support to patients as needed.
  • Conduct thorough intakes and participate in the orientation of new patients, ensuring a smooth transition into our program.
  • Administer patient drug screening, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with employers, families, and friends of patients, providing timely updates and support.
  • Conduct random room searches, ensuring the integrity and security of our facility.
  • Transport patients as needed, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Dispense authorized prescription medications to patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pass a PA Criminal Background Check.
  • Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances.
  • Pass a Drug Test and TB Test.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a favorable driving record.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Flexibility regarding work schedule, including various shifts and on-call duties.

Work Environment:

  • Corrections facility environment, requiring a high level of security and attention to detail.
  • Various shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.
  • Required to remain awake and alert while on duty, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
