About the Role

We are seeking a Housing Support Specialist to provide essential support to residents at Grand Forks Housing Authority. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting residents in maintaining their housing and providing support services to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Harm Reduction support and knowledge to residents
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Assist residents in meeting their housing obligations and achieving self-sufficiency
  • Support residents in understanding their rights and responsibilities as tenants
  • Act as a liaison to additional supportive services and resources
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed documentation
Requirements
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
