We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dog Trainer to join our team at Pawsitive Dawg Walking and Pet Sitting, LLC. As a Certified Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch dog training services to our clients, including Walk and Train services, consultations, and mentoring our dog walking team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dog training experiences to clients, including Walk and Train services and consultations.
- Develop and implement customized training plans for clients and their dogs.
- Mentor and train our dog walking team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our clients' pets.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services to our clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- At least 3 years of experience in dog training.
- Professional certification in dog training (CPDT-KA, CPDT-KAS, or PCBC-A) is preferred.
- Fear Free certification or willingness to become certified.
- Strong belief in and adherence to force-free training methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Smart phone with ability to text and download and use our scheduling software.
