Job Overview

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supporting research scientists with their experiments, performing QC checks on HPLC and LC-MS systems, and assisting with routine buffer preparations and calibration for analytical instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support research scientists with their experiments based on existing protocols, methods, and SOPs.
  • Perform timely QC checks on HPLC and LC-MS systems.
  • Support scientists with routine buffer preparations and calibration for analytical instruments.
  • Follow GLP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook.
  • Help with organizing and cleaning the lab and work environment.
  • Follow documentation and safety practices.
  • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting (hardware & software) for lab equipment.
Requirements
  • Masters degree or higher in Analytical chemistry or other closely related field.
  • 3-4 years related bench experience in an industrial setting.
  • Understanding of industry practices and standards is required.
  • Hands-on experience with UV-VIS, HPLC (Agilent, Thermo) and LC-MS (Agilent qTOF and Thermo Orbitrap) is preferred.
  • Experience with software (MassHunter, OpenLab ChemStation, Xcalibur and Chromeleon) for instrument operation and data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with troubleshooting of LC-MS systems is required.
  • Prior experience with oligonucleotide analysis (HPLC/LC-MS) is a big plus.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
