Hourly Rate: $47.35

Comprehensive Life Resources, a leading Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support our youth residents in Tacoma, WA.

As one of the five Children's Long-term Inpatient Programs (CLIP) in the state, we cater to youth aged 12-18 who require assistance in maintaining safety within their home or community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing and medical care to residents within the Children's Residential Treatment Facility.
  • Contribute as a member of a team that welcomes and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Specific Duties:
  • Administer nursing and medical services to residents.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff about prescribed medications and medical treatments.
  • Document care provision and clinical observations in electronic health records.
  • Administer and record medications in compliance with state and program regulations.
  • Provide emergency medical assistance as required.
  • Receive and transcribe medical orders, incorporating medications into the electronic prescribing system.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and current RN license in Washington State.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children and/or adolescents.
  • Familiarity with psychotropic medications and psychiatric care.
  • Experience in child development, crisis intervention, and counseling (individual, group, and family).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of insurance.
Work Schedule: Positions are available across all shifts, with potential for 12-hour, 10-hour, or weekend double shifts. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
