Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures.

• Perform cardiac sonographic imaging and all necessary functions required to complete the procedure for interpretation.
• Interact with providers as necessary for completion of the procedure.
• Perform cardiac stress testing on patients with complete knowledge of different stress protocols and the computerized capabilities of the equipment used to perform the test.
• Apply and process Holter/event monitors.
• Participate in 'on call' rotation for echoes and TEEs after hours (as needed for inpatient facilities).
• Serve as a resource for other technologists, students, and hospital staff.

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology with a focus in cardiac imaging and/or 2 years' experience in the field of echocardiology.
• Must be a registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible through ARDMS or CCI.
• Must maintain BLS certification.

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology with a focus in cardiac imaging.
• 2 years of experience in the field of echocardiology.

The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including gloves, gowns, and masks as needed. The physical demands of the job include the ability to move about the department and between workstations, frequently moving, lifting, and/or carrying medium weight objects and materials.
