General Surgeon Opportunity in Northern Vermont

A hospital in northern Vermont is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated full-time General Surgeon to join its esteemed practice. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, serving the health needs of over 30,000 people and employing over 700 dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including skin lesion excisions, gall bladder removal, hernia repair, advanced laparoscopy (including colon resection), endoscopy/colonoscopy, and ideally, breast biopsies
- Work alongside experienced providers, including 2 Physicians and 1 Physician Assistant
- Collaborate with a team to provide high-quality patient care
- Manage a daily caseload of 6-10 cases or 15-18 outpatient visits
- Participate in shared call duties 1:3
